Dental Nurse
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, Dental Nurse to join our team in Leeds. It is essential for a successful candidate to speak at least Polish and English language, however the more languages the better, as our patient base is very diverse.
It is essential for the right candidate to have:
* Excellent written and verbal communication

* the ability to work well with your hands
* to be able to carry out tasks on a computer or hand-held device
o candidates should be proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, should have competent keyboard skills, and knowledge of a dental software iSmile, Carestream would be an advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Day-to-day cooperation with the clinician in charge of the patient's treatment
* Clinically induct and supervise all new nurses in the practice
* Lead a dedicated team of nurses with the day to day running of the practice
* Perform the duties of the Infection Control Lead and ensure that all nurses are aware of and adhere to the infection prevention procedures
* Perform all routine checks and audits of equipment, medications i.e. COSHH
* Bring to the attention of the practice manager any concerns about aspects of the practice, its performance or the performance of others in the practice
* Monitor, support and reassure patients
* Give appropriate patient advice
* Support the patient and your colleagues if there is an emergency
* Follow all professional ethical guidelines including all rules on confidentiality

* GDC registered
Working days: 5 days over 7 days
Pay Rate: £10 - £12 Negotiable on experience and attitude
Work remotely: No
DBS check is required for the successful candidate.
