Our established and highly reputable dental practice client is seeking to recruit a practice manager to join their friendly team based near to Burgess Hill.
Due to workplace location, your own transport is essential.
Monday - Friday (Apply online only) full time
To ensure the smooth running of the Practice. To plan, implement business growth and development.
Dentists, Dental Hygienists and Therapists ,Dental nurses, Receptionists, cleaners,
Manage administrative tasks and monitor appointment diary management to ensure the most efficient use of time within the practice
Ensure adequate staff cover via organisation of rota system and the efficient communication of this to whole team
Manage Practice finance including day-to-day accounting using cloud based software.
Review and develop current brand standards and train team in these.
Produce and maintain the Practice Operating Manual, training team in contents.
Manage premises including maintenance and security
With authority of owner/s, organise adverts for any necessary recruitment, set up interviews, screen applicants, present short list of potential new staff to owner/s for final interviews
Induction of all new staff
Organise and chair staff meetings, being responsible for the organisation and delegation of the agenda and minutes.
Comply with Health and Safety, employment and other regulations and ensure compliance of team members.
Overall responsibility of drafting, seeking approval and completing the marketing plan.
Develop and maintain the Practice’s Patient Journey.
Prepare monthly spreadsheets and financial information (including Key Performance Indicators) and present these.
Responsible for communicating payroll information to accountants in time for timely transfer of salaries
Liaise with accountant, bank, insurers and solicitors as needed.
Supervise the Business Development of the practice.
Maintain the Practice organisational structure.
Manage strategic planning and internal/external marketing.
Development and maintenance of branded marketing material.
Manage all IT and Technology within the Practice.
Undertake staff personnel development and appraisal interviews
Identify and communicate training needs of team members to the owner and assist owner in the performance and development review of the team
Managing and promoting the Practice via Social Media channels.
Ensure surgery is opened and closed daily
Manage smooth running of surgery equipment and staff
Active maintenance of CQC folders. Keeping policies and requirements up to date.
Create and work closely with the management
Keeping a well scheduled appointment diary for all clinicians
Monitor practice’s NHS performance and update dentists on meeting the set target
Meeting, greeting patients and ensuring patient satisfaction
Managing patient feedback and complaints; dealing with patient correspondences promptly
Active patient reactivation and monitor patient attendance.
Previous dental practice manager experience is essential for this role. Due to practice location your own transport is essential.
