We have an exciting opportunity at Gainsbourgh Care Home for a full-time Deputy Manager. Gainsborough Care Home is situated in the seaside town of Swanage within the beautiful Isle of Purbeck.
You can earn up to £28,000 DOE as a Deputy Care Home Manager in Gainsborough Care Home.
Key Responsibilities of the Deputy Care Home Manager: * The Deputy Care Home Manager will support the Registered Care Home Manager in the day to day activities of running the home. * Work closely with the Registered Care Home Manager to ensure Gainsborough Care home is recognised for being a great place to live and work. * Assume full responsibility for the day to day running of the Home in the absence of the Registered Care Home Manager. * Manage a team including Care Managers, Care Workers and ancillary staff, ensuring best practice is carried out. * Review the care needs of residents by their changing needs and by contractual requirements. * Monitor and ensure that the general standards of hygiene and cleanliness in relation to the premises and equipment are maintained.

You must have: * NVQ 3 or above in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) * Previous management/supervisory experience * Knowledge of Health and Safety rules, relating to Care Homes. * A caring nature and desire to make a difference in someone's life * Demonstrate up to date knowledge of the Care Sector, the running of a Care Home and the regulatory framework.
* Experience of working with vulnerable client groups
* The right to work in the UK * A good level of English - both written and oral * Approachable and supportive to individuals
