Deputy Home Manager (RGN / RMN / RNLD) - Nursing Home

Location: Chelltenham, Gloucestershire

Care Categories: Respite, palliative care, nursing care, day-care and residential care

Salary: £34,000 per annum / £17.43 per hour

Hours: Full Time Hours (37.5 hours) - Days

Contract type: Permanent

Further Details: Due to promotion we have a fantastic opportunity arise and are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced registered nurse and manager to work as a Deputy Home Manager within a very reputable Care Home located in Cheltenham. The Care Home is a bright and welcoming home that offers specialised respite, palliative care, nursing care, day-care and residential care with an overall good CQC.

The home is easily accessible via public transport and is within easy access to Dursley, Gloucestershire. The service enjoys an excellent reputation for care quality and succeeds in offering an attentive, friendly and homely environment. Staff morale is very high.

Person Specification: As a Deputy Home Manager, you will be required to assist the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home and supervise all junior members of staff. You will need to actively promote a positive, proactive and caring atmosphere within the home and ensure that care quality standards are upheld for the wellbeing of the residents. You will need to strive for improvement continuously and promote change management throughout the organisation. You must be a qualified RGN, RMN or RNLD with a valid NMC Pin.
