With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.
It will provide nursing care and a range of programmes to support the development of independence and life skills. Residents will also have access to daily activities including arts, music, education, sensory and outdoor activities. The homely and comfortable environment has been designed to enable person-centred care and to assist people who cannot live in their own homes to maintain as much independence as possible.
A fully qualified deputy nurse manager is required to work at the Service in Amtrim. The ideal candidate will have experience of management in a residential care home setting for residents who have complex needs such as old age, dementia, learning disability, mental health, autism and associated health issues.
As an experienced deputy manager you will take pride in providing the highest standards of care to all residents and managing the Service to the highest standards.
Candidates must possess the following:
Fully qualified Nurse with NMC registration.
Experience that is recent and relevant to the role.
Experience of managing and leading a multi disciplinary team of staff.
Experience of financial management to include management of financial accounts and or budgets.
Understanding of the RQIA and experience of working to relevant care standards.
Meet the standards required by the RQIA to become a registered manager of the relevant service.
