Deputy Home Manager (Registered Nurse - RGN or RMN) Aberdeen Area.   £17 - £18 per hour DOE. Full Time - flexible up to 42 hours per week. 50/50 Supernumerary/Clinical. Permanent   Are you an organised, methodical Nurse who is passionate about delivering positive change and high quality care?   Are you experienced in supporting older people with complex care needs? Working with my client you can build a fast-moving nursing career whilst helping our residents fulfil their lives.   You'll be supporting and deputizing for the Home Manager, you will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care staff and oversee the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care. You will focus on residents with complex needs, so it’s vital that you can conform with the latest guidelines, take far-reaching decisions and maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures. The Nursing Home itself is a very vibrant home – it is in a beautiful on the outskirts of Aberdeen but still very close to all that the city has to offer. The home aims to be innovative in everything we do and are always looking for new ideas to bring into the home. There is an active relatives’ group – the members recently worked with a counsellor to produce the very successful 'Relatives' guide to the home. The home provides residential, respite and nursing care for older people, including individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, physical disabilities or learning disabilities. They also offer supportive and compassionate end of life care. On site is a dedicated team who make sure that each resident feels settled and that their loved ones feel welcome at all times. They encourage everyone to carry on doing the things that are important to them, so that they can stay as active and independent as possible. Residents are offered lots of choices and always involve them in decisions about their care. All activities are based around residents’ own interests and abilities. You will be an NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD), you will be well versed in the care planning process and fully familiar with clinical assessment tools.   You will be keen to develop your leadership skills and clinical knowledge, capable of building close relationships with residents and their families, and determined to drive continuous improvement.    My client has over 100 homes throughout the UK they provide expert respite, residential, nursing, dementia and end-of-life care for older people.
