On behalf of a fantastic award-winning company, I am looking for a Deputy Manager to join one of their nursing homes. This particular home is situated in the lovely Oxfordshire countryside, and provides first class Nursing and Elderly care. I am looking for a Deputy Manager to assist and support the Home Manager with the overall running of the nursing home.

The Deputy Manager will lead shifts and provide support and guidance to an experienced clinical team, the Deputy Manager will be responsible for staff supervisions, appraisals, recruitment, training, care plans, audits, reviews and attending management meetings.

To be considered for the Deputy Manager position you will need to have previous experience in a senior/management role and be a qualified nurse (RGN/RMN) with excellent clinical skills.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist the Home Manager with the overall responsibility of the nursing homes
• Report into the Home Manager
• Support/Lead the team
• Complete care plans/reviews and audits
• Be involved with staff training and inducting new staff members
• Recruitment of new staff
• Contribute to ensuring CQC compliance
• Liaise with a multidisciplinary team
• Ensure the highest level of care to the residents

Job Requirements
