Deputy Manager

Upto £50,000 per annum

We are recruiting a Deputy Manager on behalf of our client based in Thetford. Our client has numerous homes throughout the UK caring for thousands of residents. A successful candidate will hold the position of Deputy Manager and Registered Nurse. You must be able to demonstrate effective leadership and clinical management within the care industry. You will work within a care home specialising in care for the elderly and be expected to work a mix of supernumerary and nursing shifts.

Job Role

As Deputy Home Manager, you will :-

• Support and deputise for the Home Manager

• Inspire and lead colleagues overseeing delivery of high quality care

• Focus on residents with complex needs so it is vital that you are up to date on the latest guidelines

• Undertake walk around checks ensuring compliance

• Ensure that patients receive a high-quality service

• Effectively manage staff and resources

Experience & Key Skills Required:

Our Deputy Home Manager will :-

• Have NVQ level 3 or above in Health & Social Care

• Be a registered nurse with active NMC pin

• Have experience in a senior managerial position within a care home environment

• Have a good working knowledge of CQC standards

• Have experience of delivering quality clinical and personal assessments

• Have experience in engaging with service users and their families

• Have a good understanding of Quality Assurance tools

• Be confident in communicating with your colleagues ensuring that you maintain excellent working relationships
