An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in UK nursing homes to help to lead and develop a 50 bedded County Durham nursing home.
Details of this Deputy Manager position and what the home is offering:
* 40 hours per week on a permanent contract, working flexible day shifts, with some supernumerary hours included
* A fantastic pay rate offered of £17 per hour, which is NHS Band 6 equivalent and equates to an annual salary in the region of £35,360

As Deputy Manager you will provide specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence and supervising/coaching colleagues to provide a service that’s unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* NMC registered Adult Nurse/RGN, Mental Health Nurse/RMN or Learning Disabilities Nurse
* Proven experience in person centred care planning within a care home
* Demonstrate proven elderly and dementia care experience, with good working knowledge of CQC essential standards
* Confident leading, developing and motivating a team
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
