Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Domiciliary Care Manager to manage a homecare branch in Burton on Trent. My client is a well-established care business providing an individually tailored service to clients living in their own homes. You'll need to have worked as a Branch manager, Registered Manager or Domiciliary care manager previously and be passionate about delivering high standards of person centred care. On offer is a starting salary of £25,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience.

The Domiciliary Care Manager role

You'll be managing the day to day delivery of a high quality, person centred community care service. You'll ensure that local authority contract compliance is met, that CQC requirements are met and that the branch continues to develop and grow. This is a medium sized branch with lots if potential for further development and growth.

As the Domiciliary Care Manager:

  • You'll oversee the day to day delivery of the branch
  • You'll take on new care packages, ensuring that care assessments, risks assessments and care plans are completed.
  • You'll ensure that the service is run in compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
  • You'll lead and develop the staff team
  • You'll have the responsibility for growing the business, looking to increase the hours in both their local authority contracts and by growing their private client base.

The Successful Candidate will

  • Have a good understanding of CQC standards
  • Have experience of managing domiciliary care services in the community as a branch manager, registered manager or domiciliary care manager. We may consider a deputy who has extreme experience at this level and can demonstrate their readiness to take on their own branch.
  • Have a good track record of achieving good or outstanding with CQC
  • Be qualified to NVQ4/QCF level 5 or already working towards
  • Be a driver with own vehicle
  • Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to manage own workload
