Early Years Practitioner

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Early Years Practitioner based in Herts. The successful candidate will earn £17,000 - £23,000 depending on age and ability. There may be possible room-leader or management responsibility. 

You will be joining a happy, harmonious team at a thriving family run nursery.

Role Requirements

Although a level 3 qualification in early years is desirable, our client is more interested in a candidate with a positive, can do attitude and a real enthusiasm for working with children.
Role Responsibilities

To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years.
To develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child’s development.
To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times.
To deliver an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress.
To plan activities which ensure each child is working towards the early learning outcomes.
To be a key person to your assigned children.
To ensure records are properly maintained, e.g., daily attendance register, accident and incident book, risk assessments, observations.
To work in partnership with senior management to update and review the self-evaluation and improvement plan.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the nursery requirements
