Spire Manchester Hospital are looking for an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join their new team. This is a chance to join a team that are driving towards JAG accreditation, so you can be part of this progression. The role will provide excellent care and require the post holder to participate and contribute to the running of the Endoscopy Unit. There are opportunities to further develop your Endoscopy skills through training and gaining experience within a leading private hospital.

The Manchester team currently consists of over 500 colleagues and we are rapidly expanding as we increase the scope of services we provide across our experienced and dynamic teams.

Duties and responsibilities:

Working within a highly supportive team as an Endoscopy Nurse at Spire Manchester you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care. You will be responsible for doing pre-assessments, admitting patients into the endoscopy unit, assisting the consultants and discharging patients from the unit. You will also be responsible for the decontamination of scopes and dealing with patient queries.

Who we're looking for:

  • Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Minimum of 2 years endoscopy experience
  • Have BLS and ideally ALS
  • Have knowledge of Joint Advisory Group (JAG) and CQC standards as required for endoscopy services
