Job Description

Field Care Manager needed for an established domiciliary agency in Fareham. Salary dependent on experience £22K - £26K plus £150 extra for on call duties.

This role will be ideal for a Care Manager looking for a managerial role but without the registration, or a Deputy Branch Manager or a strong Field Care Supervisor with extensive leadership experience.

You will be working remotely (and from home) with one day in the office. You will manage a specific territory of Carers and Clients within Southampton City.

The ideal candidate will reside in or near Bevois Valley, Feemantle, Lordshill, Lordswood, Maybush, Millbrook, Polygon, Portswood, Shirley, Upper Shirley, Ocean Village.

The Role;

As the Field Care Manager you will;

  • Carry out supervisions, appraisals and support visits with the team of carers
  • Ensure a high standard of care is provided to the clients
  • Play an active part of implementing customer care assessments, support plans and risk assessments
  • Attend client consultations and be the go-to person for the clients family
  • Participate in on-call, one evening every 8 days and one weekend every 7 weeks (additional payment provided for this)

The Person;

To be considered for the Field Care Manager role you will;

  • Have worked in a similar role with strong knowledge and understanding of domiciliary care
  • You will hold a NVQ / QCF Level 3 as a minimum
  • Have experience in developing associated paperwork and documentation
  • Be organised with excellent customer care skills
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
