Zero hours per week - As and When Required Working Arrangements

Working Arrangements are £32,283 pro-rated based on 37.5 Whole Time Equivalent

Anyone facing surgery needs to be confident that everyone in the Operating Theatre knows exactly what they are doing and Theatre Practitioners are a vital part of that team.

A large element of our key Theatres workforce are Theatre Practitioners, providing high quality patient care and skilled support to our busy Theatres suite, alongside our expert professional operating teams. As a Flexible Theatre Practitioner you will play a critical role in the smooth and successful running of the operating theatre, the scrub team and Anaesthetics.

We have great opportunities for individuals who can work flexibly in a fast paced and dynamic environment, to deliver high quality surgical services for patients.

For this role, you will need to:

    • Be flexible and adaptable to work wherever our teams need your skillsPossess excellent problem solving and organisational skill
    • Be caring and compassionate in your approach to patient car
    • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with patients and colleague
    • Have a thoughtful and conscientious approach to team working where high quality and safe care coun
    • Applicants must hold a current Registered Nurse registration and have a minimum of 6 months post registration experience in an acute hospital (which must be recent).
