Do you have experience in forage analysis? Are you looking for a new challenge with an innovative and leading Agriculture an Animal Nutrition business?

Our client are a revolutionary and pioneering company focusing on a range of products which help animal health and nutrition. They have been growing rapidly over the previous few years and are looking to continue this trajectory. As a result, they are now seeking an immediately available Forage Scientist to join their R&D team in an initial temporary role.

The suitable individual will be responsible for ensuring forage analysis is carried out accurately, efficiently and to timescales. You will also log the receipt of various samples and be responsible for accurate record keeping. You will utilise a range of analytical techniques such as NIRS and ICP-OES.

To be considered for the role you will need experience of using ICP-OES and NIRS in an analytical laboratory environment. You should hold at least a BSc in a relevant scientific discipline as well has having a good background in a scientific testing field. An analytical mindset and innovative working style are paramount and you must be able to troubleshoot problems effectively. The ability to work well as part of a team and be able to communicate efficiently is also necessary.
