We are looking for a part-time Qualified GP Health Care Assistant (HCA) to work in a GP practice based in East London. Initially the position would be for 25 hours per week but there may be options to extend this if you wish in the future.

You will be involved with a high amount of enhanced services work and the fact will insure that you can gain additional certificates as part of your employment with

In order to play this role, it is essential that you have a Care Certificate and previous experience in all of the following within a GP setting:

Writing Care Plans
Flu Injections
Infection Control
Wound dressings
Suture Removals
Phlebotomy
Injections
Diabetes Reviews
Asthma Reviews
ECG's
BP Monitoring
Spirometry
Assisting in Minor Surgery
Ear syringing

Ideally you should also have experience of using EMIS although training in this can be provided for the right person.

The interview process will consist of a telephone interview and a face-to-face interview.

This is a permanent position and we are looking for someone able to start as soon as possible.
