As a key member of the executive team, the Group Director of Mental Health will lead the modernisation of the services across the organisation, managing a dedicated team of registered healthcare and mental health managers to ensure that best practice is central to all healthcare strategies. Vitally, you will lead the service growth programme of all mental health services within the organisation as directed through the 5-year business strategy.
As a motivated self-starter you'll be passionate about solving problems and about conceptualising and designing what best practice and good looks like. You will look forward to building a culture that encourages initiative, individual and team responsibility, with open communication which motivates and empowers staff.
No two days will be the same.
Your key skills and qualifications
* Professional clinical qualification related to mental health services and strong evidence of high level understanding of mental health service
* High level understanding of quality frameworks, safeguarding policy and practice and regulatory compliance requirements for mental health services
* An expert knowledge of legislation affecting charitable and publicly funded services and the CQC framework.
* A commitment to the organisations values, ethics, and a drive to build relationships throughout the business, as well as with clients and third parties.
