Finegreen are currently working with a leading provider of healthcare services to the NHS and wider public sector and 3rd party partners.

My client is looking to appoint a Head of Healthcare for their Health, Justice and Primary Care Division. A clinically/employee led, values driven organisation where you will make a tangible difference to the ongoing development of this service.

You will be an senior clinician who has some management experience, utilising your current skills to lead an established team of healthcare professionals. You will be confident and resilient in your approach but open to developing your own knowledge base and skill set with a company that will invest in your individual needs and aspirations.

Overview of the role:

- Responsible for the effective day-to-day operational management of all clinical services provided, including primary care nursing clinics, GP clinics and mental health.
- You will be responsible for the management and monitoring of all service level agreements (physiotherapy, podiatry, mental health and substance misuse) ensuring performance-monitoring standards are adhered to and the highest standards of care are maintained;
- This role is a senior role with responsibility as lead for delivery of service and quality outcomes at a local level;
- You will also work in partnership with senior colleagues in the organisation to ensure high performance standards and consistency as well as leading and representing your department in strategic discussions on the direction and delivery of future services.

Essential Criteria:

- Current Registration to the NMC;
- Advanced knowledge of current national policies and legislation relevant to health care services;
- A working knowledge of the different cultures and religions of the local community;
- Knowledge of risk assessment and management.

Ideal Experience:

- Please note, the organisation welcomes applicants that have not worked within Health and Justice Services. If you are not from this background, ideally you will have experience in Urgent Care/A&E or Community/Primary Care based settings.
- This is a role, whereas you can develop into a different healthcare setting.
- The organisation is offering a substantial relocation package for this role, in addition to this a welcome payment also.
