An exciting and rapidly expanding pharmaceuticals manufacturing group is currently looking to hire a Head of Quality to lead quality assurance activities across manufacturing operations.
The Head of Quality will lead a team of QP's and QA staff and will implement a strategy plan to help shape the direction of the organisation to meet the commercial demands of a growing network of customers internationally.
Reporting into the Quality Director and managing a large, expanding QA department and team of Qualified Persons within the business, this opportunity will suit an experienced QA professional looking to join an evolving group that has a global reach and ability to promote quickly to a more senior level. As Head of Quality you would be responsible for:
Management of the QA Operations team Responsible for batch disposition of oversight of batch release processes Main Quality contact for operational teams across the site. Management of key quality processes in partnership with operations, including batch disposition, deviation and CAPA management, on-time delivery, schedule adherence, product supply, risk assessments and change control.Key experience required:
Experience in pharmaceuticals with significant experience in a quality management or operational role Eligible to act as a Qualified Person with batch release experience Experience of Quality Assurance in a sterile manufacturing facility Broad knowledge of cGMPs (MHRA, US, EU,) for sterile products Previous management of QA Teams across manufacturingA salary of £100,000 is on offer for this position with an excellent benefits package.
