The Muswell Hill Practice is a large GP practice in North London.
We are looking for a new Health Care Assistant to join our forward thinking & friendly team on a fixed term basis initally.
We are a large practice and have a list size of over 14,800 patients.
We have been established for over 30 years and are a respected training practice. We have 4 Partners, 6 salaried doctors and 2 registrars. We have 2 nurses, a healthcare assistant and a wonderful support team. We are in the first NHS pilot of having a Pharmacist and are trialing new ways of working at all times.
The successful candidate must cover general practice HCA duties which would include being able to take and record such procedures as BP, smoking and smoking cessation, testing urine and taking bloods, flu (and other) vaccinations, B12 injections, health checks and helping with all other chronic condition monitoring eg diabetes, asthma, kidney disease and COPD - this list is not exhaustive.
The candidate will be subject to satisfactory references and successful DBS check. We are looking for candidates with some experience in a general practice setting.
