Midlands Medical Partnership ( MMP) is a partnership of 17 GPs which provide NHS GP services to over 67,000 patients over 11 surgeries across Birmingham.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced GP Practice Healthcare Assistant at: Old Priory Surgery, 319 Vicarage Road, Kings Heath, Birmingham, B14 7NN.

Working Pattern: TBC.

Shifts ranging from Monday to Friday 8.00am - 8.00pm, Saturday 8.00am - 12.00 noon, Sunday 8.00am-12.00 noon.

16 hours per week

You must be competent in the following skill sets:

  • NHS health checks
  • Blood pressures
  • Wound care
  • ECGs
  • Urine analysis
  • Venepuncture

Desirable Criteria:

  • Ear syringing
  • Application of ABPM machines
  • Trained to give flu vaccines
  • Care Certificate
  • NVQ level 2 or 3

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience of working in a GP environment as a Health Care Assistant

You will be working alongside a team of GPs, Practice Nurses and Practice Staff to deliver an exceptional standard of care and working to achieve QOF targets.
