Due to expansion and increasing list size, we are looking for a skilled, part-time permanent Healthcare Assistant with previous experience to work in the Eye Clinic at Ireland Wood Surgery, Leeds. We will also consider applicants with relevant transferable skills.
The successful candidate will run diagnostic tests and medical imaging, such as visual fields, retinal imaging and OCT scans, housekeeping duties and dispensing of eye drops.
The position requires cover on a shift basis Monday to Saturday and is conditional upon flexibility for leave/absence cover. The Practice uses Emis Web system and training is available for users of equivalent systems.

We are looking for an individual who feels that they can quickly settle into the Practice incorporating their skills into our very busy surgery. The Practice’s two sites serve approximately 25,500 patients.
Full time equivalent annual leave entitlement is 25 days, plus 8 bank holidays per annum. The Practice also runs the NHS contributory pension scheme.
