Job Description

Healthcare Assistants - Child Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)

Location: Northampton
Salary from £16,486 Inclusive of Clinical allowance, Plus shift enhancements and excellent benefits
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Our services at the newly opened FitzRoy House are specifically desgined for young people with mental illness, learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour. The CAMHS pathway provides open, low and medium secure services and all of our therapies, facilities, education and activities are designed to reach the maximum potential for our young people and enable them to move forward with their journey through life.

We have a number of exciting opportunities for Healthcare Assistants. As well as working as part of a multidisciplinary team, there are training and career progression opportunities that can help individuals fulfil their potential. The role can be quite active and challenging and we would therefore require you to be physically fit.

You will need to possess good communication skills alongside IT literacy. You will need to have resilience to work in a secure healthcare setting and this will help you meet the challenges and expectations of working as a Healthcare Assistant.
