Job Summary

UK Care and Nursing are currently recruiting for Health Care assistants for our Nursing Home client within the Axbridge area. Our client has numerous Nursing Homes throughout the UK and are currently recruiting in one of their somerset homes. The successful candidate will be patient and caring and able to provide a quality service to residents within a care home environment whilst enabling them to lead an active and independent life.


• £8.75 per hour

Job Role

Our successful candidates will:-

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality care to residents

• Assist the Deputy Manager and Senior Staff in providing the highest possible standards of care to all clients

• Ensure that the care provided complies with the requirements of individual care plans

• Ensure that the correct and proper documentation and records are maintained in compliance with Company Policies and Procedures.

• Assist with the preparation, plating and serving of food, spending time as appropriate to ensure that meal times are an enjoyable experience

• Respond to emergency bells, front door and telephone in addition to greeting and welcoming visitors

• Co-operate with the housekeeping staff & other colleagues to maintain a clean, safe & tidy home environment

• Attend all staff and other meetings and compulsory training courses when required
