Job Summary

We are recruiting Health Care assistants for our Care Home client within the yarmouth area. Our client has numerous Care Homes throughout the UK and are currently recruiting in yarmouth for one of their specialist care homes supporting adults with learning disabilities. A successful candidate will be patient and caring and able to provide a quality service to residents within a care home environment whilst enabling them to lead an active and independent life.

Job Role

Our successful candidates will:-

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality care to residents

• Assist those that require it with:

• Getting in and out of bed

• Washing

• Dressing

• Toilet requirements

• Their personal care

• Assist those with mobility problems when required

• Encourage independence and support vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities.

Education, Skills and qualifications

Our successful candidate will:-

• Have a valid driving licence

• Have proven experience of working within a care setting

• Be NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

• Be a good team player

• Have the ability to work well with others

• Be compassionate and understanding
