A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Home Manager to manage an exceptional care home based in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
The care home provides general nursing care and dementia nursing care for older people. The Home is purpose built around a central courtyard with the accommodation on one floor
**To be considered for this role you must be qualified as an Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC Pin**
As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:
- To utilise authentic leadership, role modelling and inspirational skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent quality of care
- To become the person in charge responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service with 24 hour responsibility for the care of the Service Users
- To manage the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy
- To provide improvement, independence and choice for Service Users
- To comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times and in particular the CQC for the Registration and Inspection of Nursing Homes and NMC guidelines
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
- Commitment to delivering high quality care
- Previous managerial experience in an older people’s environment
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards
- Fine tuned decision making skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Flexibility and strong “can do" attitude
The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £60,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 40 hours a week working through Day Shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
