Orion Group Life Sciences have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resource Manager for our Multinational Biotechnology client based in the Cambridge/Uxbridge area on an initial 9 month contract.

Job Purpose

Ensuring all UK/Ire HR processes, policies and data sources are optimised for efficiency, accurate and fit for purpose

Main Responsibilities of the role

Policy and Process Improvement
To review and evaluate all UK/Ire HR processes and policies (including those across multiple HR disciplines), identifying key priorities and making relevant improvements to ensure operational excellence and legislative compliance as well as ensuring they are fit for purpose
To provide coaching and change management to the HR team, enabling best in class process delivery to UK/Ire staff, and learning opportunity for the team,
Create process that ensures all data sources are up to date, accurate, efficiencies are leveraged and decision making enabled
To deliver process efficiency and compliance through review of bespoke Amgen UK Employee Programmes and processes

Desired Experience and Background of the successful candidate

Previous experience of HR process improvement / HR Shared Service Centre leadership
and coaching
Proven change management capability, with a focus on process
Results oriented and goal driven, with strong organisational and planning skills
Strong computer literacy with all MS Office applications, Workday and SAP
Excellent relationship building, credibility and influencing skills at all levels, both local and remote in a matrix environment
Strong analytical capabilities and ability to interpret data, creating information to inform business decisions
Understanding of pharmaceutical industry landscape preferred

Basic Qualifications
* Degree level qualification
* CIPD or other HR qualification preferred
