Client Information:    
Our client has leading private hospitals all over the UK and continuously growing. They currently offer treatment to patients undergoing medical and surgical interventions including general surgery, ENT, gastroenterology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, oncology and cardiology. They operate within state of the art facilities equipped with the latest technology and also offer a range of diagnostics imaging tests and scans. Their hospitals are able to offer the most complex surgeries to patients with exceptional aftercare both inpatient and outpatient.    
   
   
Opportunities:  
We are looking to recruit experienced Staff Nurses to join their ICU department. As part of the ITU team you will be caring for level 2/3 patients on the unit.
   
Reporting into senior staff and the ward manager working as an Intensive Care Nurse you will be responsible for planning and delivering appropriate care for admissions and discharges to the unit. You will assess patient's health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload. Part of your role as an Intensive Care Nurse will involve caring for patients on ventilators, patients with tracheostomies and peg feeds. You will have an innate ability to quickly identify any issues or concerns and act accordingly. Working as part of the team you will be competent across Venepuncture, Cannulation and Phlebotomy, carrying out these tasks on a daily basis while maintaining a safe environment for patients under your care. You will also be assigned other ad hoc duties as required by senior members of staff.  
   
Working hours are days, nights and weekends on a rotational basis.  
   
 
To be considered for this role you will be an Intensive Care Nurse ideally you will have at least 1 years experience working in Intensive Care/ITU either General or Cardiac. A mentorship course is desirable but not essential. Part of this role involves having an innate attention to detail with a strong ability to work well under pressure. You will adapt easily to situations and be a good communicator within a team. Computer competency would also be a vital part of the role.
