Interim Turnaround Manager - Ophthalmology Unit - Hertfordshire

Are you ready to help implement processes and procedures to turn around a competent team and make them outstanding? We've partnered exclusively with an independant provider of community-based ophthalmology services who deliver NHS care across a wide range of treatments such as cataract removal, laser eye surgery and macular degeneration. The organisation operate over 100 locations nationwide and have plans to expand rapidly into 2021 and 2022.

They require an interim turnaround manager to join their Hertfordshire based clinic to help cover a period of absence and help implement robust and high quality optomery patient pathways to ensure all of the clinics patients are receiving the level of care that is expected. You will help to mentor and assist the hospital / clinic manager, the clinical staff including junior nurses and ensure that their is consistent and effective collobaration betwen clinical and admin staff.

Experience required -

Working in a surgical setting at a managerial level, and whilst ophthalmic experience is preferable it certainly isn't essential
Managing, mentoring and guiding clinical staff at all levels
Implementing and leading new procedures and processes to improve operational performance
Patient pathway management The role will be for 3 - 6 months, with possibility of an extension or transitioning into a permanent position.
