The Short Term Assessment, Rehabilitation and Reablement Service (STARRS) are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Junior Occupational Therapist for their newly commissioned Integrated care team, who will bring new ideas and share their excellent working practice within this busy, friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team.

This is a newly commissioned service looking after patients identified as high risk of admission to hospital or readmission, providing high level clinical care led by Elderly care consultant in patients own home.

This will include working closely with GPs, WSIC, social care and community teams.

We will offer you support and training to develop your role within the team as well as the benefits and advantages of working within the NHS.

Crèche facility available on site.

For this post, the following are essential:

    • Current HCPC registration

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Occupational Therapy knowledge and assessment skills

    • Full clean driving license and use of a car

Integrated Care team provides Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Dietitian services which can include specialist assessment, equipment and short-term packages of care.

You will be expected to be able to work autonomously and undertake visits in line with the STARRS’ Lone Working Policy.

The team is operational 7 days a week between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00
