Our client, a marketing leader in their specialist field, is looking for a Lab Project Manager to join their growing team. The role will involve acting as a bridge between customers and the lab who can ensure lab testing projects are running on schedule and to the customer’s specification.
Duties will include: -
Running multiple lab-based projects
Liaising with customers, verbally and in writing
Scheduling work with Lab Supervisors and communicating timelines to customers
Report writing
Suitable candidates are likely to have all or most of the following experience: -
A relevant scientific degree or equivalent (A levels / equivalent is also acceptable for someone with significant relevant experience)
An understanding of Mass Spectrometry (ICP, LC, LCMS, GC, GCMS)
Knowledge of GMP / GLP principles
Strong Communication skills
Knowledge of UKAS (ISO:17025) would be advantageous
Any background within CRO / CMO environments would be useful
This department focuses on Extractables and Leachables (E&L) testing of medical devices and similar. The role could either be very technical or more commercial focused. They need someone who understands Mass Spectrometry but the level of customer contact to lab-based work will depend on the background of the individual.
