A market leading agrochemical business based in Kings Lynn is currently recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join its analytical team on a permanent basis. As Laboratory Technician, you will play an important part to the company's quality control procedures to ensure products are met to customer standards using a range of chemistry techniques (ICP).
Laboratory Technician responsibilities
Chemical Analysis of customer samples and report results back to the wider team.
Equipment maintenance.
Quality control of products (ICP) and evaluation of raw materials.
Documenting test results.
Working in accordance with GLP & company guidelines.
Developing and testing of new products.Laboratory Technician requirements
Degree level qualification in Chemistry or closely related field of study.
Experience working in a commercial laboratory completing analytical chemistry procedures - ideally ICP & GC. Experience in using inductively coupled plasma (ICP). gas chromatography (GC) and segmented flow analyser (SFA) units is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
Successful development and timely completion of self-directed projects.
Knowledge of MS Office (Word. Excel. Outlook).
Effective communication at all levels.
Be a good team worker demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the Company and other team members.
Full UK Driving Licence
