Job Description

Finegreen are recruiting on behalf of a leading independent healthcare provider. This is an excellent opportunity for a Lead Clinical Radiographer to join their Diagnostics Team within a private hospital based in London.

The postholder will deputise for the Operational Imaging Services Manager when required. The Clinical Lead Radiographer will work as part of a team delivery a high standard of imaging, with close attention to the welfare of patients, visitors & staff.
The Lead Clinical Radiographer will lead in all imaging modalities including CT & MRI to a high level of radiographic skill; undertake general X-ray/Fluoroscopy examinations and radiographic support in theatres as required. The post holder will perform high quality examinations as required by referring Physicians, ensuring that you adhere to the customer care policy and that all patients being investigated receive a high standard of care.

The postholder will assist Consultant Radiologists in undertaking specialist examination and lead and participate in Clinical Auditing ensuring clinical audits are carried out as appropriate.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate:
  • DCRR or BSc in Diagnostic Imaging;
  • Minimum 4 years post qualification experience is required;
  • MRI/CT Cardiac experience;
  • Solid experience in CT/MRI imaging;
  • Ability to help develop interventional service offering in cross sectional imaging;
  • Knowledge of Clinical Governance and CQC;
  • Previous experience in the Private Sector (desirable);
  • Experience of Clinical Audit.
