Are you a registered nurse with management experience who is looking for a new challenge?

Working within a homely complex elderly step-down care environment (not a care home) you will be responsible for ensuring person centre care is provided by the team.

You will be undertaking ongoing monitoring and support of the residents physical and physiological needs while working effectively with the families, therapy time and key social and health care professionals.

You will be a participating member of the nursing team who is assessing, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual care plans including liaising with other relevant agencies as appropriate.

Ideally you will have previous experience working within a complex elderly care environment and the passion to help make a difference to everyone. The opportunity to make a difference to individuals while no 2 days are the same.

The ideal candidate for this Lead Nurse Position nr Stoke on Trent will include:

* Established RGN/RMN/RNLD nurse with a valid NMC PIN

* A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate

* Desire to provide high quality care to patients

* Previous experience of successfully leading a team

* A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach

* A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence based practice

As the facility is 24 hours, you will work a shift pattern which will include, weekends, bank holidays and nights – 12 hour shift working 3 days one week and 4 days the next on a 2 week rolling.
The contract is for 37.5 hours per week, near Stoke on Trent

SALARY: £40,000 pa DOE


HOURS: 37.5 per week regular shift pattern
