TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Lead Radiotherapist for the Southampton Area.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide leadership and effective performance management for all radiotherapy staff. You will create the right environment for all radiotherapy staff to work effectively together as a team.  You will ensure that the radiotherapy section of the unit has the staff and resources it needs to operate effectively and safely. You will also ensure that all members of the section team have had the appropriate training and have the necessary skills to do their jobs.

  • DCR (T) or BSc (Hons) in Radiotherapy (or equivalent)

  • HCPC registration

  • Able to demonstrate post qualification experience understanding of  UK radiotherapy

  • Experience within all aspects of radiotherapy; quality assurance, pre-treatment and treatment; evidence of effective staff liaison and co-operative working; evidence of empathetic and a holistic approach to patient care

  • Evidence of Management and Leadership Skills

  • Evidence of Day to Day Organisation Operations

  • Experience in private health sector is desirable

  • Experience with Prostate or Breast Cancer Highly desirable

  • Experience with resolving complaints satisfactorily; experience of proactively evolving radiotherapy techniques

  • Evidence of effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills; strong relationship building skills

  • Able to act as a trainer and mentor for new/more junior staff

  • Evidence of continuing professional development
