Job Description

The Orders of St John Care Trust is the 2nd largest not for profit care provider in the UK specialising in providing high quality, person centred care for older people, in care homes and extra care housing. And we`re currently modernising our portfolio of care homes - refurbishing our existing homes and moving into new, inspiring, contemporary care homes too. As we expand nationwide, we need more people with the right mix of skills,
passion and ambition to help us grow even more. Are you passionate about supporting others to be able to feel confident and capable to deliver high quality care to older people? If you love to deliver face to face training to people at the start of their career journey as well as be a part of their continued professional development then this is the role for you! We are looking for a Learning and Development Advisor to join our Talent Management Team and support our Care Homes in Oxfordshire to do exactly that. You will coordinate, deliver and ensure that our employees have the knowledge, skills and behaviours to provide compassionate person-centred care. You will champion our values and ensure that our Homes are able to meet not only our external compliance responsibilities but also our own high standards and expectations. You will have previous experience working in adult social care and a demonstrable
commitment to facilitating change and supporting others to learn and grow. An accredited qualification in adult learning e.g Certificate in Training Practice CIPD would be advantageous You must be able to travel across the Oxfordshire Region and be comfortable working independently.
