Description

This isn't going to be an easy role.

You will be responsible for supporting young people at the residential home; from safeguarding the children, encouraging their passions and aiding their development into young adults.

You'll be working as part of a close team in one of their homes in Thursby. The homes are built around the children, each child has their own bedroom here and a shared living space with a kitchen.

Being ambitious for young people, helping them achieve their goals and optimise their potential

Encouraging the young person to develop links with the community, attend off-site activities and expand their personal social network

To act as a key worker or co worker for a young person to ensure that the young person's care plans are up to date and that all their care needs are being met.

You'll be supporting children and young people in residential care as a Support Worker

Your hourly wage will be £11.50 per hour (£12.89 inc holiday) for weekdays, rising to £12.50 per hour (£14.01 inc holiday) for Saturdays and £14.50 per hour (£16.28 inc holiday) for Sundays and Bank Holidays.

You'll be working as part of a team who support you and want you to succeed
