Mammographer job in Washington at Spire Healthcare

Mammographer | Imaging | Band 6 Equivalent | Full Time | 37.5 Hours Per Week

Spire Washington Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mammographer to join or Imaging team on a full time basis.

Spire Washington is a 35 in-patient bedded hospital with 10 consultation and 2 treatment rooms based just off junction 63 of the A1 with great commuter links. Our Hospital offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres covering specialities including Orthopaedics and Gynaecology and a full Diagnostic suite.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Providing highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients and to make informed decisions on the diagnostic imaging required
• Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient
• Ensure that Spire radiology procedures are implemented and maintained

Who we are looking for:

• You will hold a Diploma or Degree in Radiography and be registered with the HCPC
• You will have gained sufficient experience in the field of Mammography and hold relevant qualification.
• You will need to possess strong communication skills and have a good standard of IT.
• Previous experience within private healthcare is desirable but not essential.
• Have good communication skills
