Pharmaceutical Company seeks experienced Manufacturing Scheduler - Manufacturing Centre

About the Role:
The Scheduler will work closely with customers to ensure that the shared GMP area capacity is aligned to customer needs whilst supporting the day to day execution of the scheduling of shared area processes.

Duties may include:

Work with the Operations Lead and stakeholders to implement and maintain a site-wide scheduling system that meets customer and facility requirements.
Proactively work with customer and stakeholders to ensure effective scheduling and to manage/resolve scheduling conflicts.
Design an effective communication system including visualisation of the facility schedule in the shared GMP areas.
Develop a reporting system to ensure for accurate recording and analysis of shared area KPIs to drive efficient usage of area and the associated processes.
Collect, analyse and report KPIs for scheduling/customer activities.
Provide strategies and solutions to maximise capacity of the shared GMP area.
Be responsible for overseeing and implementing scheduling strategy on a daily basis, to ensure all material, equipment, product, waste and sample moves are in compliance with GMP processes and procedures.
Apply continuous improvement philosophy to the scheduling system.
Arrange and schedule routine GMP cleaning with customer, departments and the 3rd party cleaning company in the shared GMP areas and in Collaborator clean room modules.
Work with Quality Control department to schedule environmental monitoring in the shared areas and the collaborator modules.
Coordinating emergency response corrective actions, spills management and other ad hoc requirements
Liaise with Collaborators and internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient, effective & compliant coordination of all planned activities (such as facility shutdowns) and in instances of unplanned events (such as a supply chain issue).
Liaise with departmental heads to populate and maintain resource planning tool to show resource demands across the manufacturing centre.

Skills and experience:

Scheduling in a production or similar environment.
Skills and expertise in working with Excel and similar electronic systems/tools in a scheduling/planning environment.
Proven track record in implementing new systems and applying continuous improvement.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPIs)
Ability to use production scheduling systems.
Competent using MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in chairing daily production (stand up) meetings and using those meetings efficiently.
Scheduling in a production or similar environment.
Previous experience within a production management or team leader role within an aseptic manufacturing facility would be an advantage.
Experience of working within a GMP environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage constructively with stakeholders/colleagues at all levels across different departments to deliver objectives and to respond to a wide range of customer and management needs.
Ability to quickly establish credibility and build rapport and trust.
Flexible and pragmatic, able to learn quickly and respond flexibly to changing needs and priorities.
A flexible approach to work assignments. An ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and to prioritise the workload whilst maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Comfortable operating autonomously once goals and objectives are set.
Having current and up to date professional knowledge, expertise and best practice
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ability to deliver projects on time.
Strong analytical skills.
High proficiency of Microsoft ExcelDegree qualified
