Maternity Cover Locum GP –
We are a forward thinking and growing practice, keen to expand our services, with modern, leased premises in keeping with the future direction of primary care.
We are looking to recruit a Maternity Cover Locum GP with the commitment to continuing their development and that of our General Medical Practice across our two sites in North Leeds. Our practice provides excellent medical care and a wide range of clinical services to a younger than average and very diverse list of 8500 patients.
You will take part in a variety of duties such as seeing patients, practice administration, duty tasks, team development and home visits.
Our team comprises 3 GP partners, 4 salaried GPs, 4 Practice Nurses, 3 HCA’s and 12 support staff. We are a very friendly and extremely supportive organisation with high standards of clinical care housed in our purpose built main site at Woodhouse Health Centre in Leeds 6. We have a 10 year history of supporting FY2 doctors and we are in the process of becoming a GP Training Practice and rated ‘good’ by CQC (August 2019).
We have a strong, enthusiastic and collaborative network which is within the Chapeltown locality with a reputation for being innovative and developmental.
The position is available from week commencing 14th October 2019 and on offer is 5/6 sessions per weekspilt over 3/4 days with the session rate negotiable based on skills and experience. The position offers NHS Pension, free car parking and Medical Indemnity. The contract is expected to last for a minimum of 39 weeks with a possible extension to 1 year after mutual agreement.
