Matron/Clinical Services Lead Surgical Day Case London   Permanent, FT - 37.5 hrs         Up to £50,000+   Are you an Nurse with experience of working at Senior Management level?   Do you like the idea of working for a private hospital in state of the art facilities?   Check out this exciting role based in South London….     Client Information:       Our client is a brand new modern day case facility based in South London. They currently offer treatment across a range of specialties including Endoscopy, Orthopaedic Surgery, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cosmetics, ENT, Vascular, Gynaecology, Urology, Plastics and Oral Max Fax. The facility currently boasts two laminar airflow theatre, dedicated endoscopy suite, full recovery facilities, 5 consulting rooms and diagnostics and imaging.   Opportunities:         We are currently looking to recruit a Matron to run the wards of this day case hospital. Reporting into the Head of Department you will work to provide leadership to all clinical staff at the hospital.  You will lead and develop strong partnerships with key stakeholder's i.e Consultants, GP's, CQC and local NHS Trusts. Part of your role will involve building effective controls for the monitoring and management of the nursing services and implementing new policies and procedures that will only aim to help improve the quality of the service. Another aspect of your role will be to get involved with the recruitment of staff, working to ensure effective utilisation of staff at all times so that high standards of care are maintained. You will play a key role in the financial budget and ensuring the operational and strategic practice of the ward is communicated effectively throughout the hospital. You will have a through understanding of Auditing, Benchmarking, CQC Framework and KLOE To be considered for this role you will have at least 2 years experience working in senior management level ideally within a surgical setting. You will have strong clinical background and a track record delivering a change agenda. You will be commercially focused and have the ability to lead clinical based projects in the development of hospital services and strategies. Sound like the role for you?
