Medical Governance Administrator | Audits | Governance | Solihull | Full time | Permanent 

Spire Parkway Hospital are looking for a Medical Governance Administrator to join our Governance team to provide effective and efficient clerical support. This role will assist the staff within the Governance department and will be under the supervision and direction from a member of the team within the limits of competency and knowledge.

The role is full time and on a permanent basis.

Spire Parkway Hospital in Solihull, West Midlands offers a comprehensive range of private hospital services. Our hospital is rated Good by the CQC for all parts of the inspection except for Patient Care, which is rated Outstanding. The report states, “Staff treated patients with compassion and kindness, respected their privacy and dignity, took account of their individual needs, and helped them understand their conditions. They provided emotional support to patients, families and carers.”

Duties and responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Medical Governance & Risk Lead, you will take an active role in providing effective and efficient clerical support to assist with the Medical Governance processes within the governance department and the wider hospital. This will include assisting with filing systems, recording and collating application documents, assisting with administrative tasks to support incident investigations and to be able to take minutes of meetings. You will also provide administrative support to the Clinical Governance Manager and Patient Experience Manager as required.

Who we're looking for:

  • Experience of working in an administrative role, preferably within the health care sector.
  • Computer literate, with a comprehensive understanding of word and excel, and to be able to transfer data into charts with Excel and other programmes
  • Previous experience in a clinical governance setting would be ideal
