At Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust we are looking for people to join us who share our values and those of the NHS. Before your application can be considered please take part on our online values questionnaire, which you can find below. Following a staff member leaving the service we have a vacancy for a full- time (37.5 hours) memory nurse for our Early Memory Diagnosis and Support Service. The post holder will work within a multi disciplinary team to assist in the diagnosis of dementia and helping to support service users and their families in the weeks after diagnosis. The post is based in Saffron Ground, Stevenage and covers Stevenage and North Herts.
A full induction into the service will be given but nursing experience working with people who have dementia will be an essential requirement for the post.
Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test. The UK Border Agency requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post.
