My client is a specialist independent provider of neurological rehabilitation. It provides treatments to adults who are suffering with neurological conditions and also acquired and traumatic brain injuries. They also provide long term care for people with complex, physical, cognitive and/or behavioural support needs.
The facility is a full inpatient facility with en-suite rooms, communal areas and gardens. With a state of the art physio gym with hydrotherapy pool they cover all aspects of the rehabilitation process. The site also has a Neuro-Rehab unit and Neuro- Behavioural unit to offer to care to patients with more complex care needs. Their service also offers different home service packages to suit individual patient's requirements. Opportunities:
My client is looking to recruit a number of experienced Registered Nurses (RGN or RMN) to join their Neuro Rehabilitation team at their dedicated facility near Salisbury. You'll have a passion for delivering the highest levels of patient-centred care and supporting them through a variety of life challenges during the rehabilitation process. Posts offered are for Staff Nurses and Senior Staff Nurses depending on your level of experience.
You will work with the clinical team to ensure effective day to day delivery of care and rehabilitation to patients in your care. On a daily basis you will be co-ordinating the shift and delegating tasks when required to meet the needs of the patient, carry out risk assessments on patients and formulate and update their care plans, provide clear and concise records and contribute to written reports, plan and prioritise interventions to meet the changing needs of the patients and assist and encourage patients to achieve their daily and long term goals. You will also act as a mentor to junior staff and be involved in their induction.
You'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a UK NMC Pin in order to be considered with an appropriate Nursing Degree. The company is a Tier 2 Sponsor so if you need a visa this is possible. Naturally, you will have previous experience in a Care setting along with excellent English communication skills both verbal and written and be able to communicate with people, patients and stakeholders at all levels. You should be at the top of your game with a passion for this type of role which requires a great deal of care, compassion and interest in improving the quality of the lives of the people in your care. You should also be a great team player and have the ability to plan and prioritise your workload.
