Job Description

Leaders In Care is on the lookout for a Registered Mental Health Nurse in Manchester. This is a full time nursing role based in a registered care home, and comes with a salary of £30k+ p/a, with paid breaks.

In this nursing role, you will be working three 12.5 hours shifts per week. The healthcare provider you will be working for runs a care home that provides nursing, care, treatment and reablement for up to 16 older people living with mental health conditions. The service is CQC rated Good. As Registered Nurse you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for residents, supporting the Care Manager in the management and development of the service.

If you were already working in this role, these are some of the tasks you would have been handling this week:

Managing the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for residents.
Supporting and mentoring a team of healthcare support workers and care workers
Deputising in the absence of the Registered and Deputy Managers

The role would be suitable for a Registered Nurse with active PIN and Registered Mental Health Nurse training, with an enthusiastic and outgoing personality. You will need to be creative and resourceful and able to 'think on your feet' in tricky situations. You will need previous experience in a mental health setting (RMN Nurse, RNLD Nurse).

You should be able to demonstrate the 5 core values of nursing: Human dignity, integrity, autonomy, altruism, and social justice and integrate them into your clinical practice daily.
