Belmont Recruitment are currently in search of a Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist (RMN/CPN/SW/OT) Band 5-6 to join the First Episode & Early Intervention in Psychosis Service based out of St Albans in Hertfordshire. The role is Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, however there is scope for flexibility so applicants who cannot work full time are still encouraged to apply, this is initially on an ongoing locum however this will most likely be made permanent.
The successful candidate will provide Care Co-ordination , specialist assessment and interventions to people with first episode psychosis (FEP). There will also be opportunities to work with people experiencing a range of complex psychological and emotional needs on our specialist at risk mental state (ARMS) pathway. The role is looking for someone who can communicate effectively and collaborate with younger patients in particular, as well as a wide range of other professionals within community mental health and stakeholder organisations. The post holder will be motivated to contribute ideas and have a passion for recovery-focused, person-centred care. We all learn from each other in the Early Intervention Team due to our highly multidisciplinary and collaborative approach.
The pay rate for this locum role is between £19.52 - £26.52 per hour dependant on experience, however this is open for negotiation for someone with years of experience.
