The induction programme is for all new staff and the length is dependent on the role you will be undertaking. It is an essential part of new staff training requirements and therefore attendance is mandatory.

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity available for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to join our Integrated Community Mental Health Team in North Cornwall ICMHT. This team covers the geographical area of North Cornwall and we have a main base in Bodmin at Banham House.
Our Integrated Community Mental Health teams all deliver a high quality and effective service to people experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems. We provide an integrated health and social care service, offering the assessment and treatment of mental health problems. We have a focus on effectiveness and recovery, working to promote the independence of our service users. These openings are for those keen to be a care coordinator and be part of a multi-disciplinary team who place an emphasis on treatment and recovery.
We are an enthusiastic and supportive team who wants to meet people who can demonstrate the Trust’s vision and values in practice, and are motivated to be involved in innovation and service development.
We are looking for those people who have a core profession in mental health nursing, social work or occupational therapy to join our community service line. We want people who have experience or who are looking for an experience in working independently in a mental health setting.
As an ICMHT team member you must have both a positive outlook and sense of humour to accept the challenges of working in a busy locality that extends to seaside towns and rural locations.
You will need to have knowledge of general mental health problems, the impact this may have on service users and their treatment. You will need to have knowledge of the CPA process, legislation around mental health and The Mental Health Act. You will need excellent communication skills and place value on team and inter-agency working.
We would like to work with an individual who wants to utilise their skills to effect positive changes for our service users. We need a person who can demonstrate passion and commitment to mental health issues have an approach to excellent client centred care along with working flexibly as part of a team, to deliver innovative health and social care. You will receive regular support and supervision from the Management and Leadership team.
Relocation expenses of up to £3000 will be considered for this post.
