Marketplace Technical is proud to be recruiting exclusively on behalf of the global Pharmaceutical Manufacturer that has entered into an agreement with the UK Government to fill finish COVID-19 vaccines. The manufacturing will be undertaken at the company's site in Wrexham, North Wales.

They require a Microbiology Technician on Night Shift Monday to Thursday, 8pm - 6am. Training will begin on day shifts, but night shift premium will be paid from the start.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Microbiology Technician/Senior Technician to join the QC Microbiology Team on a 12 month contract.

A day in the life of a Microbiology Technician:

As a QC Micro Technician you will be a key member of the QC Micro team, working to perform viable environmental monitoring sampling and test incoming materials, intermediates and finished products. You will perform Microbiological testing of pharmaceuticals in tablets, liquid, semi-solid and sterile dosage forms. In addition you will be able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision, and understand your accountability for the quality of work delivered.

What we're looking for

You need to be flexible, and a problem solver, a person whose curiosity is their strongest motivator! We need you to be educated to minimum of degree level (Inc. biological or microbiological Degree) or equivalent, experience in a pharmaceutical environment, and a knowledge and understanding of cGMP.
