Aberystwyth University (AU) has received fixed term funding to 31st July 2020 from HEFCW which is aimed at strengthening the Welsh research base and enabling Welsh researchers to attract a greater share of UK-wide funding. As part of this funded programme of work an opportunity has arisen for a fixed term National Spectrum Centre - Phase 1 Project Officer in the Department of Research, Business and Innovation (RBI). This fixed term post reports to the European & Business Development Manager.

We are seeking to appoint a Project Officer to co-ordinate and manage Phase 1 of the Development of a National Spectrum Centre. The successful candidate will be based in the Research, Business & Innovation Department at Aberystwyth University, coordinating and managing activities and teams working on Phase 1 of the development of a National Spectrum Centre. The successful candidate will work with senior academics across interdisciplinary areas at Aberystwyth University, as well as working closely with our key stakeholders including QinetiQ, Ceredigion County Council, and the Welsh Government.
