We provide a wide range of emergency and inpatient services at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage (Cardiology, Stroke, Plastic Surgery, Urology and Renal) and QEII, Welwyn Garden City. Outpatient and diagnostic care is provided at Hertford County, the Lister and the New QEII, and we offer a first class midwife and consultant-led maternity service at the Lister. Our Mount Vernon Cancer Centre is one of the country’s top five cancer treatment centres, providing specialist radiotherapy services.
We have a variety of exciting roles across all of our sites. Whilst each role is very different, we all share one vision – we put our patients at the heart of the outstanding care we provide and we’re looking for people who share our values.

- a great preceptorship scheme
- an improved rotation scheme where you can choose from a number of planned rotations or we can look at a bespoke one to suit you
- a fast track route to band 6 once you have completed your preceptorship if you wish
- our newly qualified RNs an additional £500 in development funds for you to use on any learning or development activity of your choice, in discussion with your preceptor, within the first six months of your employment with us. We want to offer this to you as we take education and learning very seriously and want you to have the opportunity to draw on these funds as you need them in your early days as a registered nurse.
